Photography Submission Terms

Who can submit

Anyone may submit photographs they took themselves, or that they are authorised to license, provided the photographs were captured in Kerala. You can submit up to three photographs in one submission.

Your photographs remain yours

Copyright stays with the photographer. By submitting, you let KeralaTrekking review and shortlist your photographs and contact you about them. Any publication, printing or other use of a selected photograph needs a separate written agreement with you, and will only go ahead after you agree to its terms.

What we accept

  • Original photographs captured in Kerala with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, drone or mobile phone.
  • Basic colour correction, cropping and exposure adjustments.
  • No AI-generated images, misleading composites or visible watermarks.
  • Drone photographs must have been captured in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • No photographs that disturb wildlife or show unsafe or prohibited activities.

Selection

Shortlisting does not guarantee final selection. We may contact shortlisted photographers for more information or the original files. Selected photographers receive credit and recognition from KeralaTrekking.

Your details

We collect your name, email address, WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your Instagram username, together with your photographs and their details. We use them to review submissions, contact shortlisted photographers and send your confirmation. We send updates about KeralaTrekking projects and events only if you tick the optional box. We do not sell your details. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data, and write to info@keralatrekking.in to ask for your submission or details to be removed.

Deadline

Submissions close on November 30, 2026.
